Holistic Health in Antiquity
Egyptians, Greeks, Chinese, and other ancient civilizations had their wellness and natural herbal practices, spirituality, and holistic health methods. Of all these practices yoga is definitely the most popular. Yoga, which began in India over 5,000 years ago, is one of the oldest body-mind modalities that continues to inform modern wellness routines. Yoga has always been huge for my health and healing: stress reduction and just wellbeing in general.
